Today is a Good Day to Die

Recently a friend said to me “Tom today is a good day to die”. You know what, he’s absolutely right.

Today is a very good day for me to die… to my pride, my selfishness, my fears and my insecurities.

Today is a good day for me to die to old ways of thinking, the fear of the unknown, faithlessness and doubt.

Today is a good day for me to die to my man sized dreams and start believing for God sized dreams.

Today is a good day for me to die to bitterness, resentment, offenses and grudges.

Today is a good day for me to die to who I am in the flesh and start living… as who I truly am in Christ.

Today is a good day to die to the limitations of the natural realm and start living the supernatural life I was created to live.

Today is a very good day to die to sin and live in the fullness of freedom that Christ won for me.

Thanks friend…

“The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:25

  1. loss is gain, first is last, last is first, death is life...

it's all so confusingly simple - or is it?

death isn't so scary once you've done it a few times...

  2. It's only when we truly die to those things, do we start to live fully in freedom.

  7. Here is a quote that I came across recently:
It’s a sad day when you find out that it’s not accident or time or fortune, but just yourself that kept things from you.

    May I die to self!
