Friendship

Friendship
by Dinah Craik

Oh, the comfort —
the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person —
having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words,
but pouring them all right out,
just as they are,
chaff and grain together;
certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them,
keep what is worth keeping,
and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.

  3. Hello dear friend
    How are you feeling? Can you feel the prayer being sent your way? We can't be in close proximity so I am asking God that he daily demonstrates his closeness to you. I know he wants to do more, leaving you to do less. That is what I would want to do if I was there.

    Saw your work, my feeling is that if everyone can be more exchanges, we should be more than is now the world like this!
